Elliot Forhan, a democratic primary candidate for Ohio Attorney General is facing backlash for stating that he’s going to kill Trump.
“I want to tell you what I mean when I say I am going to kill Donald Trump,” Forhan says in a video that was posted to his Facebook account, “I mean I am going to obtain a conviction, rendered by a jury of his peers, at a standard of proof beyond a reasonable doubt, based on evidence presented at a trial, conducted in accordance with the requirements of due process, resulting in a sentence, duly executed, of capital punishment.”
Kulewicz, a fellow primary candidate, did not approve of Forhan’s comments, saying, “The comments today from my potential primary opponent are disgraceful.”
His video and statement spread rapidly on the internet, and people are saying he is not qualified to be an attorney general. He was harshly ridiculed by conservatives and members of the MAGA movement. One had even called him an “evil deranged psycho” and said that he is not someone who should hold power.
Elliot has struck up a storm like this before. Five days after Charlie Kirk was assassinated, Elliot made a facebook post saying, “F*ck Charlie Kirk,” and further justified it by saying it began with “Violence is wrong.”
“The effort to sanitize, glorify, and canonize Charlie Kirk, the people who have suffered, who have lost their livelihoods, who have been terrorized by people threatening their lives stand with them,” Forhan said. He also stated, “I chose my words carefully, and I chose them to communicate my message forcefully.”
Elliot Forhan has lost respect in the eyes of many people, and does not carry as much influence as he did before. People don’t even think he deserves to be in the position he is in.
