Three seriously injured women were attacked and got rushed to the hospital after a crash on the Capital Beltway ended in a deadly road rage incident where the police said one woman was killed and the other three women were seriously injured. It was later revealed a dog was also stabbed to death. According to the Virginia state police, they had identified the women who were stabbed, as well as a knife-wielding man, who was fatally shot by a trooper. The three women who were attacked were 36, 37, and 40 years old. 

Jared Llamando, 32, was taken to the hospital, where he later died. The police said the trooper shot the man in the act of “self-defense” after Llamando confronted him with a knife. The trooper did not suffer any injuries during the accident. 

The shooting is currently under investigation, which leaves the trooper on administrative leave. The lanes where the crash was at were closed for several hours on Sunday.
