Bad Bunny brought the party to the Super Bowl halftime show as he promised, performing hits from “Debi Tirar Mas Fotos.” At halftime, in the matchup between the Seattle and the New England Patriots, Bad Bunny opened his performance at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, with his 2022 hit “Titi Me Pregunto.” The 31-year old Puerto Rican singer went on stage dressed in all white, wearing a jersey with his last name. He made history as the first halftime show performer to sing primarily in Spanish.
Bad Bunny also performed other songs from his latest album, including “EoO,” “NUEVAYoL,” which pays tribute to the Puerto Rican diaspora in NYC, and “DTMF.” Lady Gaga performed her duet, “Die with a Smile,” with a Latin sound, and also joined Bad Bunny in performing “Baile INoLVIDABLE.” Ricky Martin joined during “LO QUE PASO A HAWAii.”
During his performance, towards the end of the show, Bad Bunny did a shoutout to every Latin-country and included the United States before saying, “God Bless America.” He held a football that said “Together we are America.”
Bad Bunny performed with a group of people dressed as trees. The field was filled with palm trees, sugar cane, and vegetation native to Puerto Rico. Walking in through the lush greens, Bad Bunny had sugar cane farmers sporting a pava, a traditional Puerto Rican straw hat. A coconut vendor, a piraguara cart, and a couple of boxers came as he went on to perform another hit, “Yo Perreo Sola.”
At the end of the show, Bad Bunny walked out and a trail of flags followed him. This SuperBowl performance was significant because of Bad Bunny’s quote at the 2026 Grammy’s: “The only thing that is more powerful than hate is love.”
