Allegedly, the Duffer Brothers used ChatGPT and Reddit for the series finale of Stranger Things in season 5. Not only that, but it has been confirmed in the new Stranger Things Documentary that they started filming the new season without finishing some episodes. Fans think that the whole series was rushed and has too many plot holes. A lot of them have also said that they are disappointed because the Duffer Brothers apparently knew what the ending was, but started filming without any script. 

Adding on, everyone knows the fans are disappointed, as they thought there was another episode called “Conformity Gate.” The fans gave a theory that the last episode, episode 8, was a fake ending and there was going to be a secret episode; they believed that the finale felt “Too perfect.”

Moving on, the amount of hate the Duffer Brothers are receiving because of the “bad ending” and allegedly using ChatGPT to finish the ending is crazy. Stranger Things director Martina Badwan addressed a claim for the allegations of the Duffer Brothers using ChatGPT for the final: “But to me it’s like, doesn’t everybody have it open? Just to do a quick research.” She further added, “How can you possibly write a storyline with 19 characters and use ChatGPT?”
