On Thursday, October 14th the mighty Manville Mustangs competed in the County Championships at Pleasant Valley Park. The varsity boys battled the harsh course through the park. Captain, Colin Weber came in at 18:25, Captain, George Thomson came in at 18:49 followed by Lucas Velando at 19:46. Right behind him was Mouctar Diarra at 19:50. Todd Peterson finished at 22:28.

In the Boys JV race, Frank Docwra finished at 28:17. And last but not least a spectacular performance from the two freshman boys Anthony Valle and Maddox Brown finishing at 15:08 at 18:38 in the freshman race. This was an incredible performance for the boy’s team. They have secured their place at Philipsburg once again. Philipsburg is the Skyland Conference race. 

The girl’s team performed spectacularly. Michelle Miga came in at 22:27. Anna Kontos at 24:42.
Anna Yakobchuk at 25:59. Carly Galvin at 27:05. Vivian Dickson at 29:10 and Michelle Arbalaez at 30:19. The girls performed greatly also securing a spot to compete at Phillipsburg on 10/21. This season is looking bright for the Manville cross country teams.
