The Manville cross country team had a spectacular race on 9/25 at Six Flags. The boy’s varsity team had six career personnel records. With Colin Weber being 8 seconds from the boy’s cross country record coming in at 17:09.10. So far all of the boy’s varsity have shaved a minute or more off of their best times; captains, Weber and Thompson, being only a minute apart from each other. Mouctar Diarra was only 10 seconds behind Captain Thompson. Bringing Manville to have three people in the top 28 out of 105 people.

In addition, the Girl’s team did spectacularly with a brand-new team average which takes the school record. And our very own Michelle Miga annihilating the girl’s cross country 5K record. The team left the meet in high spirits knowing that the rigorous training they have gone through is paying off. I for one cannot wait to see what the rest of this astonishing team can do in this bright season. Overall this was a big accomplishment for the Manville Mustangs.
