Penguins and racoons are both loved around the world for their differences. Penguins
are flightless marine birds that live in the Southern Hemisphere, known for their tuxedo look. Bandit-masked racoons are just about everywhere, such as forests, marshes, prairies, and
maybe in your garbage can. The differences between these two are one of the distinguished
reasons a person would love.

Penguins are known for their cute appearance, as they huddle each other for warmth.
They can adapt to life in water, entitled as skilled swimmers since they are able to reach a
speed of 12-kilometers per hour. They’re considered as highly social birds, though they mate for
life during mating seasons.
Raccoons look like bandit-masked that are known to be everywhere, possibly in your
trash can. Their habitats are opportunistic, as they can inhabit a treehole, fallen log, or a house’s
attic. As they eat about everything they come across, they pluck mice and insects around them.
According to MHS, data has been collected around Manville High School students as
they are asked a question about their preference: Penguins or Raccoons? Results have come
from 13 votes for the raccoons and 14 votes for penguin, only having 1 in difference. Most of
their reasons were based on appearance, considering how penguins are the cuter ones
compared to the raccoons, while raccoons were chosen based on their wildlife and fighting
instincts.
The global adoration for penguins and raccoons comes from their unique qualities.
Penguins are known for their cute appearance, the title of a skilled swimmer, and the ability to
stick to one mate their entire life. As racoons look like bandit-masked mammals, found to be
everyone, and the capability to eat just about everything. The preferred animal, penguins,
amongst the MHS students is reasoned because of their cute appearance. In the end, it’s safe
to say that both animals are impressive in their own right and deserve our respect and
admiration.
