Manville High School announced senior Ryan Pankowski as the September Student of
the Month!
the Month!
When asked about how he feels about being chosen as the student of the month, Ryan
stated, “I am happy and honored to be chosen. I am grateful for the teachers that nominated me.”
His favorite memories here at MHS include talking to Mrs. Pycior about his life and all the
stressful life events he goes through while at MHS. Ryan will never forget joining the yearbook
club junior year, having to run around the school to get enough pictures with Carly Galvin all
while trying to figure out how to create it for the first time, with all new officers.
Ryan is a part of many clubs in school including Student Council, National Honor
Society, Future Business Leaders of America, Speech and Debate, International Club,
Environmental Club, Digital Media Club, and creating our High School Yearbook. Besides being
in the building during his normal school hours you can also find Ryan working in the technology
department at the end of the day. Ryan even worked at TD Bank Baseball stadium over the
summer.
Ryan’s favorite subject is science as the style of the class is very different from most of
the classes you take here at MHS. Science classes have labs and lessons that are interactive
including many materials you wouldn’t on a regular basis. He appreciates the interesting aspect
of science and enjoys trying new things. It wasn’t a shocker when Ryan stated that he plans to
attend a 4 year university to pursue a degree in engineering, however focusing on chemical
engineering.
Congratulations to Ryan Pankowski for winning Student of the Month!
