The pilot was a 33-year-old man from Somerset who was rescued after  a plane crash near Central Jersey Regional Airport, near Pizza and Pasta in Manville, NJ. USA Today stated that,  “At approximately 12:08 p.m. EDT, police from Manville and surrounding towns were dispatched to an area near the Millstone River across the street from the Central Jersey Regional Airport where they located the plane entangled in trees, according to a release from the Somerset County Prosecutorś Office.”

According to My Central Jersey on their publishing site, investigations show that while the pilot tried to land at the Hillsborough airport, the plane’s engine stalled. USA Today and My Central Jersey confirmed that by 4:10 p.m., the pilot had been safely removed from the plane and was being taken to an area hospital for monitoring. After being taken from out of the plane that was stuck in the trees, they took him to the hospital to see if there were any broken bones or medical conditions that occurred. Crater stated, “He was taken to the hospital for observation but reported he had no injuries adding that there were no injuries to first responders at the scene, as well.”  However, no one was able to discuss the incident at the airport.
