Hello my name's Owen.
When I'm not working on school work or I'm not at work I love playing video games and my favorite types are Rpg’s because of how expansive they are and the freedom you have to do whatever you seem fit. I love my job at Wendy's because I feel great when I know I made a stranger's day when I give them a compliment at the window or when I run the food out to a person waiting for a big order in their car. After work, I also like to do physical activities like running in the trials in the woods or making forts in the woods and going to the gym. My friends and I have made a treehouse in the woods that is really just a pallet of wood 30 feet up into a tree, but we had a blast making it and we are always hanging around there when the weather is nice. I like being outdoors to feel more connected to nature and from spending time outdoors I have gained experience and knowledge that I know everyone doesn't have. It is good to know that if I needed to, I could start a fire with nothing or build a shelter from sticks and logs. This also gives me a great appreciation for the many people before my time that had to live in the woods and survive for years because some days I can't get anything done or I will have a hard time making a fire. After school, transitioning into adulthood, I plan to find a career or a job that I can flourish in where I have joined the Marines so I can gain the experience to know how to rely on myself and rely on others. With the time I spend there I know I will be fine after and I will be successful in my future. I hope my kids recognize what I did and how it formed me as a person. I know that I will be able to overcome those obstacles and be able to know that the people around me and my family are better off than others.
