The iPhone 17 Pro Max came out on September 19th of 2025. It comes in multiple colors, like orange, blue, silver, pink, or green. It also has a unique camera that spreads across the top of the back of the phone. New buttons are on the side of the phone that make it easy to navigate the camera and simple to turn the phone off or on silent. However, with all of the pros of the iPhone 17 Pro Max, there are also cons.

First, let’s start with the pros of the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The popular thing that people have been most excited about is all the new colors, especially the orange. Usually phones don’t come in a bright orange color; however, this one does. This phone also saves battery super well. The battery life of the phone stays alive for hours on end, even with the use of apps or games that would use up battery on any other phone. The screen is clearer, especially when turning up the brightness, and the brightness of the phone is brighter. Lastly, the camera resizes to fit the shape or area of what you are taking a picture of. This gives the photo better quality and better visuals. 

Now, here are the cons. Looking at people’s reviews to other phones, they’ve said a lot of the same things about this phone. The most common is how expensive it is. It is 1,099 dollars, which is more expensive than the phones before the iPhone 17. This is also personal preference, but a lot of people have said that this phone is super heavy and uncomfortable to hold. Lastly, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is way slower than it should be. When sending text messages or simply just scrolling, sometimes it will freeze up.

The most popular ages that have bought these phones are younger adults ranging from 18-24. They haven’t had much complaints on the new phone, finding the variety of colors unique and the camera to be better than all the rest.
