The Homecoming Dance was a night of epic proportions. The walls were plastered with decorations and balloons littered the floor. An assortment of delectable refreshments were provided alongside the ever popular ice cream bar. A multitude of students from freshmen to seniors arrived this year. While people shied away from dancing at the beginning, the power of music compelled them to the dance floor. Women even removed their high heels for easier mobility! The overall music was a conglomerate of different songs and artists. However, they still included the played out songs we all know and love such as, Cotton Eye Joe, Cupid Shuffle, Low, and Cha Cha Slide. Despite this, many reviews of the dance were mixed. A few said that it was fun, amazing, and spectacular; others thought it was “trash” and didn’t like it. Most of the negative comments revolved around the variety of the music played or the DJ. Above all, lots of students had fun and enjoyed themselves in this memorable night.
