On Monday night football, the Arizona Cardinals took on the Dallas Cowboys in Arlington Texas at the AT&T stadium. The outcome of the game was the Arizona Cardinals beating the Cowboys 27-17. The Cowboys continue to struggle beating teams or even having a healthy team, even with the Cardinals having their starting quarterback Kyler Murray still out with a toe injury. All the pressure went to the backup quarterback, Jacoby Brissett. The Cowboys couldn’t find an opening as they had a rough start having to punt the ball, but then Jake Ferguson fumbled the ball in Arizona territory.  

In a Fox news article, they wrote that “Brissett was 21-of-31 for 261 yards with two touchdowns passes despite getting sacked five times by the Cowboys. McBride finished with five catches for 55 yards, while Emari Demercado led the way on the  ground with 79 yards on 14 carries.  The article also says, ‘For Dallas, Javonte Williams totaled 83 yards on 15 carries, but turnovers doomed the offense. Prescott went 24-of-39 for 250 yards with one touchdown and one interception, the latter coming on the Cowboys’ final drive.”  WR Ceedee Lamb finished with 85 yards on seven catches, while the wide receiver, George Pickens, added six receptions for 79 yards.  

The Arizona Cardinals, before playing the Cowboys, had a record of 2-5 and the Cowboys had a record of 3-4-1. After the game, the Cardinals now have a record of 3-5 and the Cowboys have a record of 3-5-1. They both have losing records right now, but the Arizona Cardinals are doing better than the Cowboys. The Cowboys are going into their bye week, so they have time to regroup and be a better team before coming back to play the Raiders on Monday, November 17th, at 8:15 pm. 

The Arizona Cardinals played a good game, and there is more positivity with the team after the win. The Arizona Cardinals will be playing the Seattle Seahawks this week, Sunday, November 9th, at 4:05 pm. 

In my personal opinion, I think the game was a good game. The Cardinals needed this win so they didn’t have a losing record. I think next week the Cardinals are going to have a hard game against the Seahawks. Overall the game was good and interesting to me, but it wasn’t my team playing so it doesn’t matter that much to me.
