It’s a great week for high school sports with baseball making a return for the first time since 2019. This year is a bit different, there will be no county tournament and the schedules seem to have changed, probably due to division and conference play. There will be a state baseball tournament this year, this is a big deal because they did not have one for football in the fall of 2020. 

The season started out rocky for the Manville baseball team as they currently sit at 0 and 3 and look to capture their first win in the upcoming week. This is definitely a different experience, since there are many more protocols being followed because of Covid-19 that we weren´t expected to follow in previous years. For example, the season started late this year because of Covid-19. At the end of the day, it’s great to get back out and play another year of high school baseball.
