How to Prepare For the SAT Testing

Kayla Knape

With the SAT test just around the corner, there is a lot of preparation that goes into being able to tackle the test. No matter what kind of student you are, there is always room for improvement. Before the Spring SAT on April 27th, there are several SAT preparation courses offered by MHS and outside sources such as Huntington Learning Center, which will greatly help improve your scores and understanding of the material that will be on the test. Additionally, there are SAT practice books that you can buy at your local book store which can help target your weaknesses and strengths and help you improve them.

To register for the SAT, you must fill out a form in order to register and pay a fee of $52.00. However, although the SAT is encouraged, there are many colleges and universities that have become or are becoming test optional in order to be accepted. With the COVID-19 Pandemic, colleges are making a lot of exceptions in order to help students.

Before you register for the SAT think about this one key question: are you ready?
