It’s no doubt that this year’s senior night football game was different from any other. However, with the rowdy crowds and blue and gold supporters, it was a blast.

Before the game started, senior members of MHS walked the field and posed for their last picture together; Manville high School Marching Mustang Band: Justin Chey and Sophia Starzynski; Manville High School Football Team:  Jonathan Cox, Bryan Rojas, Nick Colombaroni, Anthony Traina-Jacobs, Angelo Drake, Richard Sonnenburg, Jack Lombardino, Clete Meyer, Tony Leotti, Matt Balinski, Enoc Rios; Manville High School Cheerleaders: Beca Priego, Destiny Garcia, Sarah Colucci, Bianca Morales, Lexie Feizi, Cami Toth, Helly Rana, Maddie May, Emily Taylor, Lina Sanchez.

Parents and family in the stands made signs and had bright glow sticks to celebrate their child’s last year at MHS, as well as school-made signs for the cheerleaders. The band played on the track on the sidelines; featuring stand tunes that are as old as time that we all know and love as well as new flag tricks designed by captain Kayla Knape and instructor Kayla Eckeart.

The snack shack unfortunately wasn’t selling the delicious “Walking Taco” but they were selling chips, an assortment of candy, and hot chocolate.

Each person entering the game was required to wear a face-covering and wristband for entry. Everyone seemed to cooperate well and it was a great kickstart to a somewhat normal football season.
