Introducing Poetry to the Hoofprints Community
May 4, 2020
Manville High School’s Newspaper, Hoofprints, is filled with articles such as opinion pieces, sporting events, and recent world events. To make Hoofprints a little more interesting, and continuing our motto of having a wide variety of topics, making it enjoyable for everyone, we now introduce poetry. The first poem featured on the Hoofprints website is written by one of our Staff Writers, Kayla Knape. She touches on the subject of missing friends and family during this tough time of being confined at home. Poetry, whether it’s free or composed with a rhyme scheme, is a great way to expose and explore inner thoughts. It can also be a gateway to happiness and less stress, especially during the Coronavirus Pandemic.
