Christmas Day is celebrated by millions of Christians around the world, usually on December 25th. It is also a popular holiday celebrated by non-Christians. Christmas Day is an annual celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. Christmas is a time to celebrate love and joy and to spread happiness onto the world. Christmas means the annual Christian festival celebrating Christ’s birth, held on December 25. The colors red and green signify something deeper. For example, the color Green represents the eternal life of Jesus Christ, just as evergreen trees remain green. Red represents the blood shed by Jesus Christ during his crucifixion.

Christmas lights were invented in 1882 by a man called Edward Johnson. He was an American billionaire investor and businessman who, along with daughter Abigail Johnson, owns and runs Fidelity Investments and Fidelity International.  He was a smart businessman  because many cansee Christmas lights lit up all around towns as early as Thanksgiving.
