One of the most popular foods in the U.S is pizza. It was first made in 1889, named after Queen Margherita. The pizza was topped with fresh tomatoes, Mozzarella cheese, and Basil to represent the Italian flag, which is green, white and red.

Since that time, the variety of pizza toppings has expanded. To include the most common, such as pepperoni, sausage, pineapple, spinach, bacon, peppers and onions, extra cheese, mushrooms, etc.. In a survey of 19 people conducted in central N.J. more than 20% of the respondents chose buffalo chicken as their favorite topping, followed up by the next two popular, which were mushroom, and pepperoni. This left anchovies as one of the least favored pizza toppings. Take the survey and tell us what your favorite Pizza topping is!
