It’s that time of the year again! Horror movies, carving pumpkins, trick or treating, cozy clothes and fall, are here once again proving that Halloween is by far the best season of the year. Since spooky month has already begun, here is a list of Halloween movies, that you need to watch before October ends!

-Hereditary (2018): When their grandmother passes away, the Graham family begins to unravel a cryptic and increasingly terrifying secrets about their ancestry, trying to outrun the sinister fate they have inherited. 

-The ritual (2017): After the tragic death of their friend, four college friends decide to go hiking in the mountains of Sweden; but be careful; not everything is as good as it seems.

– The Babadook (2014): In the middle of her grieve, a single mother finds herself battling with her son’s fear of a monster lurking in the house, but soon discovers the sinister presence all around her.

-Goodnight Mommy (2014): After her reconstructive surgery, a single mother returns home to take care of her twin boys who do everything together. But with her face wrapped in bandages, they grow suspicious of her identity.

– IT Chapter Two (2019): 27 years after the Losers’ Club defeats the evil clown Pennywise, he seeks for revenge. However, childhood friends have all gone their separate ways but when people start disappearing once again, they reunite in order to conquer their deepest fears, and once again destroy Pennywise, who is more powerful than ever.

-Beetlejuice (1988): After a terrific car accident, Barbara and Adam Maitland find themselves stuck in their country residence, unable to leave the house. When the Deetzes and their teen daughter, Lydia buy their house, they try to scare them away. After several attempts, Beetlejuice a spirit who kindly offers them help, becomes dangerous to both the Maintland’s and Lydia. 

-Scream (1996): After her mother was brutally killed along with two other tennangers, Sydney Prescott is chased by a masked murderer in Woodsboro. But everyone can be a suspect, right?

-Coraline (2009): While exploring her new home, a girl named Coraline discovers a secret door that leads her to an alternate universe in which she finds everything she ever wanted, including her perfect family. Until they try to keep her there. Now, Coraline must do whatever it takes to get back to her real family, and attempt to survive while doing so. 

-Get Out (2017): On the verge of meeting the parents, Chris and Rose go on a weekend getaway upstate with Dean and Missy. As the weekend progresses a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he never could have imagined. 

-Halloween (1878): Michael Myers is known for being a troublemaker. As a 6 year old, on the night of Halloween in 1963, he brutally murdered his 17 year old sister and he is sentenced to 15 years. However 15 years later, while he is being transferred for a court day, now 21 year old Michael escapes and goes back to his hometown. Now, looking for his next victims. 

-Pet Sematary (1989):When Doctor Louis Creed decides to move his family to a small town in Maine, he meets a friendly new neighbour named Jud Crandall. After their cat is accidentally killed, Crandall advises him to bury the cat on the ground near the old pet sematary. The cat comes back to life acting more dangerous than ever. But when his son Gage dies tragically, Louis decides to bury the boy’s body in the same ground despite Crandall’s warnings. Now Louis’s visions become a deceased patient.

-A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984): After dreaming about a mysterious misfigured man, several Midwestern teenangers fall prey to Freddy Krueger, who kills them in reality. Until teenanger Nancy grows suspicious of a mysterious dark secret kept by her and her friend’s parents. Now Nancy and her boyfriend Glen begin to unravel the mystery that is chasing Elm Street.

-Friday the 13th (1980): Crystal lake has a history of murders but this does not detain counselors from setting up a summer camp. Despite various warnings, teenangers Jack, Alice, Bill, Marcie, and Ned find themselves stalked by a brutal killer. 

-The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974): After hearing about vandalism on her father’s grave, Sally along with her brother Franklin and some other friends decide to investigate the scene; but after discovering a group of crazed, murderous outcasts living next door, the group gets attacked one by one by leatherface. A man who wears a mask made out of human skin, and violently murders them with a chainsaw. Now the survivors must do anything they can to survive.

-The Shining (1980): In hopes of curing his writer’s block, Jack Torrance becomes a winter caretaker at the Overlook Hotel in Colorado.He settles in with his wife Wendy and his son Danny but as Jack’s writing goes nowhere, Danny’s visions become more disturbing. In order to save his family, Jack begins to unravel the hotel’s maniac secrets.

-Harry Potter Series (1999): After his 11th birthday, a young boy named Harry Potter discovers he is a wizard; though he lives in a non-magical world with muggles (non-magical people). As he begins his journey at Hogwarts, along with Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley his two new best friends, magical creatures and his new professors, Harry must confront the dark lord. Who will not give up until Harry Potter is dead.
