The biggest game of the year people might say for the Manville girls soccer team was played on September 19, 2019. The history of Manville Vs. Bound Brook goes back twenty plus years in all sports in Manville high school. Some say it’s just a game but for the athletes it is a battle, but the main focus for right now is the Lady Mustangs. In the past, the Lady Mustangs had a losing battle to Bound Brook.

Thursday, September 19, the home game for the Lady Mustangs hosting Bound Brook started with the Junior Varsity game. The Junior Varsity team or abbreviated (JV) beat Bound Brook with a one to zero win with a goal by Hannah.

For the Varsity game, the girls put up a great fight but came up short. Losing 3-1 Bound Brook took the win. The only scored goal was by Nicole Bak but the Lady Mustangs took a total of 12 shots on goal.

The Lady Mustangs are looking forward to the rest of their season trying to seek more wins in there 2019 season.
