“To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.” -Oscar Wilde

Kayla Knape is a staff writer for the Manville High School Hoofprints. She joined the Hoofprints as a result of her passion for writing. She believes that journalism and Newspaper Club are great additions to her array of honors and AP classes at Manville High School. When she’s not writing an article or story, Kayla enjoys spinning flag and rifle as captain of the Color Guard with the Manville High School Marching Band, reading mystery novels, spending time with her friends and family, listening to music, singing with the Manville High School Choir, and working a summer job at LJ’s Boardwalk in town. Her previous articles are published on the Hoofprints website, and they provide a great read on any recent worldly events.
