Teacher Appreciation week: It’s all about the kindness and the respect that students have for their teachers. Students who love their teachers will be very respectful towards them and vice versa. They deserve at least a thank you once a year, even though it should be expressed everyday because these local teachers and all educators deserve recognition everyday for what they do.

Being a teacher can be challenging. Whatever work they are assigned, or whatever deadline they need to make, they have to be nice and honorable to everyone, including their students regardless of what is going on in their own life. Appreciating a teacher will forever be the best thing you may have done because no matter how overwhelmed they are, they still get up everyday and do what their supposed to do.

During teacher appreciation week, teachers can receive deals from different places. Fast food places will also be kind and considerate of the teachers and give out discounts. Other restaurants do the same such as Applebees, they even give the discounts to the students. Should teacher appreciation be limited to only one week? We should be kind a respectful to our teachers all year round, not just for a week.
