In this game, there were rumours of  special gems called banana gems. and, knowing Donkey Kong, he was very excited about this, so he got a whole bunch of monkey miners to help him. So then, they start mining for them; after months of mining, they finally establish a mining colony called ingot isle. But then, a group of bad monkeys cause a storm that swallows up a ton of rock, and that storm drops a big ball of rock that breaks a hole in the ground, revealing worlds hidden under the crust of the earth. So then, Donkey Kong goes on an adventure collecting banana gems and defeating the evil monkeys and other things in his way. I don’t have any more information on the story of the game, so you’ll just have to wait until its full release on July 17th, 2025.

Donkey Kong Bananza is the long-awaited Donkey Kong game that many people were theorizing about for almost a decade. It has been over a decade since the last actual Donkey Kong game, and that one was Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze. Donkey Kong Bananza will be a free-roam, semi-open-world game where you can break any piece of terrain you see. There will be a completely destructible environment where you can pick up boulders from the ground and chuck them at enemies. And enemies can also shape the terrain, making combat more spicy. You can throw explosive rocks at enemies, too, causing a big explosion. And when you look at your map, you can track all the destruction you’ve done to your environment. And I’m pretty sure the more banana gems you find, the stronger your kongs get. So get out there and capture those banana gems.
