Assassin’s Creed Shadows is a game from Ubisoft that came out pretty recently. This game was already pretty controversial, even before it came out, because Ubisoft is known for releasing very bland and sometimes even buggy open-world games. And after the flop of a game that Star Wars Outlaws was, people are scared to trust Ubisoft.
One problem that people have with Assassins Creed Shadows is they are calling it woke or racist due to one of the main characters being an African samurai. But this is actually historically accurate because there were stories or legends that there was a samurai from Africa. His name was Yasuke, the Samurai of African Descent, and was the only one in Japanese history. Fortunately, the game is actually good and has some of the best stealth and combat mechanics in any Assassin’s Creed game. You can cling onto ceilings to hide from or get the jump on enemies. And, as always, you can fall into hay from great heights to take away fall damage.
In this game, you play as two protagonists: a female ninja named Naoe and the samurai, Yasuke, with them both having different play styles, allowing the player to adapt to and figure out these playstyles. The ninja focuses on stealth and sneaking around to get an advantage on enemies, and the samurai focuses on close quarters combat with a samurai katana.
