The brand new Fortnite season has taken over the community by storm, as new additions have been insane thus far. Players will want to complete the following challenges to ensure their battle passes are all leveled up the right way. Fortnite has been undergoing one of its best periods in recent memory, as with the new season releasing, there is a ton of content for players to go see and check out. With Chapter 6 Season 2 here, fans are starting to complete weekly challenges in order to earn some XP. XP is a form of experience points in Fortnite that can be obtained by playing most modes and completing quests in each mode. 

After the supremely excellent Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 battle pass, fans were hoping for a similar type battle pass, but, sadly, that wasn’t the case. Even some fans went on to believe that the Season 2 battle pass is the worst battle pass that they have seen in several years. “Trying to do a crime themed season called “Lawless” in a way that is just plain boring” says a fan on the Forbes article feed. 

For every season, there’s at least something new going on with different bosses, new mythics, and exotics. Players will be able to play this new Fortnite season until May 2nd, as that is when the current battle pass is slated to end. The new Mythic/Exotic weapons that players will be able to find are the Enhanced Damage AR, Baron’s Double Down Pistol, Enhanced Outlaw Shotgun, Pump And Dump, Falcon Eye Sniper, and Striker Burst Rifle. For this season, it will be all about robbing banks, trains, and different armored cars. The popular battle royal game came back online Friday around 7AM with the new Chapter 6, Season 2: Lawless.

The game went offline around 2am, on Friday February 21st with the ending of Chapter 6, Season 1. There were 4 new locations on the new Fortnite map, being named Crime City, Outlaw Oasis, Shiny Shafts, and Lonewolf Lair. On February 18th, Fortnite tweeted about the new season that had just been released: “Run amok in Crime City – gold vaults, Rocket Drills, and so much mayhem. Here’s a first look at Chapter 6 Season 2: LAWLESS arriving this friday!”
