This weekend is another UFC card. UFC 313 is on the way with some great match ups going down at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event being Alex Pereira vs Magomed Ankalaev for the Light Heavyweight belt. Now the main card is a great one with some amazing fighters and even better match ups.
Starting off the main card night will be King Green vs Mauricio Ruffy. Now, yes, King Green does have more fights under his belt than Ruffy. He hasn’t been doing too well recently, losing his last few fights. Mauricio Ruffy is semi new to the UFC; he’s been on a roll, winning his last fight and having only one loss on his record. Ruffy does have the better odds in this fight, but Mauricio has all the advantage with a longer leg and reach in general than King Green.
Going into the women’s bout, it’s Amanda Lemos vs Iasmin Lucindo. These two fighters are so close in sats it seems to be anyone’s fight. Lucindo does have more fights under her name, but Lemos isn’t that far off from her. Both being from Brazil, we will see how similar their styles will be. Lemos is known for her more of a KO or submission type of fighter; many of her fights have been under 10 minutes. Now, on the other hand, Iasmin is a fighter that goes the distance, with most of her fights being at least 14 minutes. So we will see what happens this Saturday.
Now, this next fight is another great matchup between two great fighters in the middle of their career: Jalin Turner vs Ignacio Bahamondes. The odds are on Turner taking this one home, with both of them having a great KO chance. Turner has never ended a fight by points- he’s a hard hitter and great on submissions. Ignacio is not so different from being a hard hitter but also has shown he can fight the distance. All assumptions aside, it’s going to be a great fight with only one winner.
Next up is Justin Gaethje vs Rafael Fiziev. Justin is the favorite to win it, but Rafael is on a roll, having won his last fight. Gaethje has had a great few fights, winning most by KO and beating some tough guys.
Now for the main event: the light heavyweight champ Alex Pereira vs the number one Magomed Ankalaev. Alex Pereira has had 4 title fights in the last year, making this his 5th. It seems no one can stop him. We will see this at 12 pm ET.
