On September 28th, rapper Ken Carson got hacked on Twitter.
Usually, if a famous artist/celebrity is getting hacked on social media, it’s because the hacker is trying to find unreleased music or snippets from that artist, since they won’t drop it themselves. Instead, the hacker went on Ken Carson’s Twitter account and went through all of his DMs (direct messages) and bookmarks, showing that some of the things he says in his songs isn’t really what happens in real life.
When the hacker first got into his Twitter, he changed his username and password so Ken wouldn’t be able to log into his account. The hacker posts on his account with the words “? @solona.” People knew something was happening, and, eventually, Ken realized he was hacked. The hacker posted again with a screenshot of Ken Carson’s DMs with the caption saying, “Ken pulls no girls at all.”
In his DMs, Ken seems to message a lot women on the app. All that the rapper sends to them is just the regular heart emoji. The hacker then shows a specific chat with Ken messaging a girl named Ally; all Ken does is ask the girl for her number, but she responds with the eye roll emoji. Fans of Ken were asking the hacker to go deeper into his DMs and asking for him to show his DMs with fellow label members. The hacker shared out DMs with them and shows that all that Ken does is just send them memes all day, and that his label members don’t even respond to his DMs most of the time. It takes about a month for them to message him back.
The hacker then went into the artist’s bookmarks on Twitter, and shows fans that he has a lot of workout videos that he has saved. As soon as Ken Carson got his account back, he deleted the tweet that has the pumpkin emoji, teasing his album release “More Chaos” on Halloween. Fans are wondering if they are still getting the album they have been waiting for since last November, or if the album will be delayed after the hacking scandal.
