With the 2024 to 2025 NFL season around the corner, the schedules are being released. Each team has three other teams in their division, so in their schedule they have 6 divisional games, as well as one bye week, and the other 10 games are against miscellaneous teams. It is a very exciting time because the teams can prepare to play the teams but also be able to prepare for their best players.
Teams are currently in their Summer training camps preparing and testing their skills against their teammates. This is the time when the public gets to see how well new rookies will play and how veterans will hold up. Now that the teams know what they have to prepare for, they are already watching tapes on the opposing teams together. Now that free agency is pretty much concluded, official team rosters are set. During practice and camp team chemistry is built, and the men become more than just a team. This time is a time for growth and development for not only skills but the team.
When schedules are released people usually scour the schedule to find the most exciting games. This year the most exciting one is the rematch of the Super Bowl: the 49ers vs the Chiefs. This Super Bowl match was very exciting, as it even went to overtime. This game could either secure the fact that the Chiefs are the better team, or that the Super Bowl could have gone another way. Some other notable matchups are the Falcons vs Vikings’ Kirk Cousins revenge game, the Ravens vs Chargers, where brother head coaches face off, the Stefon Diggs Bills vs Texans revenge game, and the Ravens vs Chiefs rematch. These games and this schedule is a small dose of excitement for the upcoming NFL season.
