The Class of 2024 hosted Mr. Manville on April 26, 2024, at Manville High School’s auditorium. This year the show was comprised of 6 senior boys who were selected by the senior class: Kyle Sibaja, managed by Juliana Bucciero, Dylan Ramirez, managed by Genesis Murillo, Abdiel Alverez, managed by Cora Szczesny, Justin Petti, managed by Alyssa Petti, Brandon Alvarado, managed by Kasey Campos, Louis Kotyuk, managed by Anastasia Cichon, and 3 hosts: Alison Rindgen, Cami Galvez, and Alexis Garcia. 

This year the boys competed in a couple different events including a group performance, workwear, a talent, a faculty skit, and a lip sync battle.

For the workwear portion of the show, where contestants picked a career that they would like to pursue later on in life, Kyle was a dinosaur catcher, Dylan was a chef, Abdiel was a fashion model, Justin was a rapper, Brandon was a surgeon, and Louis was a firefighter. 

For the talent portion of the show, where contestants picked a skill that they excelled at better than other contestants, Kyle chose to do an Argentin Tango with his manager Juliana, Dylan choose to be a mathlete (a smart and athletic person), Abdiel chose to be an actor as he portrayed his own version of “Breaking Bad,” Justin chose to be a magician, Brandon was a WWE wrestler, and Louis was a sword fighter, who saved a locked-away princess.

For the skit portion of the show, contestants picked a MHS faculty member to portray in “Faculty Feud”; On Venuto’s Avengers team you would find Juliana as Mr. Knitaowski, Dylan as Mr. Zilinski, Louis as Mr. Caldwell, and Justin as Mr. Venuto. On the Mommy Mustangs team you would find Brandon as Ms. DiGena, Abdiel as Senora Jankowski, Kyle as Tina the lunch lady, and Genesis as Mrs. Ruggini, whose water broke in the middle of the act and had to be subbed with Alison as Mr. Ruggini. In addition to those teams, there were a couple of other characters, including Cami as Mr. Wright, Alexis Garcia as Mr. Forte, and Micheal Wesolowksi as “The Host.”

For the lip sync portion of the show, where contestants showed off their singing skills, Kyle chose to do a remix of “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion and “Heart Attack” by Demi Lovato, Dylan chose “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?” by Rod Stewart, Abdiel chose “Work” by Rihanna, Justin chose a remix of “Deli” by Ice Spice and “Birthday Sex” by Jeremih, Brandon chose a melody of songs, including “Hips Don’t Lie” by Shakira, “Level Up” by Ciara, “Tell UR Girlfriend” by Lay Bankz, and “UP” and “WAP,” both by Cardi B; lastly, Louis chose “I Know You Want Me” by Pitbull.

By the end of the night we had heard that Brandon had sold the most tickets, followed by Kyle; and for most coins collected it was Kyle followed by Brandon. With those extra points being awarded, the crowd interaction, and the judges votes, Kyle Sibaja was voted and crowned as the newest Mr. Manville.
