The quarterfinals of the Champions League were played and this is how some of the matches developed.
Football Club Barcelona faced Paris Saint Germain. The first match was won by Barcelona with a score of 3 to 2. The first goal was from Raphina in the 36th minute. In the second half, Paris tied with a goal from Dembélé in the 47th minute. Then PSG took the lead with a goal from Vitinha in the 50th minute; in the 61st minute, Barcelona tied with a goal from Raphina and to end the first match. In the 76th minute, Christensen scored the third goal for Barcelona.
The second match was won by PSG with the final score of 1 to 4 in favor of the Parisians. The protagonists were Raphina in the 12th minute, then in the 40th minute Dembélé scored. In the 54th minute Vitinha could make it 2 to 1, and in the 61st minute Kylian Mbappé scored to finish off. The Frenchman Mbappé scored again in the 89th minute, making the final score 4 to 6, passing the Parisians to the Champions League semifinals.
On Sunday, Barcelona faced Real Madrid, a very entertaining match- the classic. The fun began in the 7th minute of the match, when Andreas Cristensen scored and Barcelona took the lead; but in the 17th minute, Madrid tied with a penalty- the protagonist was Vunicius Junior, but Barcelona took the lead again in the 69th minute and Fermín Loez was able to score. It was 2 to 1, but Real Madrid was not far behind in the 73rd minute. Lucas Vasquez put the score 2 to 2, and it seemed that the game would be tied, but in the 91st minute Jude Bellinghan appeared to give the whites the victory. Madrid is 11 points ahead and leaves the League almost doomed.
The Champions League semi-finals will be between Paris Saint Germain vs Dortmund, and Real Madrid will face Bayern Munich.
