On April 11 through April 13th, 2024, Manville High School’s Drama Club put on their show, Mamma Mia, including a total of four shows. The plot of the show consisted of Donna (Cami Galvez), an independent owner of a hotel in the Greek islands, preparing for her daughter, Sophie’s (Juliana Buccierro) wedding. However, Sophie had a plan to invite three men, who could be her potential father, to her wedding with hopes of finding out who her real father is.

A student, Dachi Darchiashvili, who watched the play said, “It was beautiful. The finale was amazing and the whole thing was very enjoyable.
There were many plot twists, with one excellent plot in general.” Noah Sommers, another student who watched the play had positive feedback and said, “It was a really great play, the actors did a great job! I honestly really enjoyed the play, way more than I thought I would.” Additionally, the people who were at the play seemed to be having a great time. People were clapping along to the songs and enjoying the whole play the entire time. The actors really put on a spectacular performance, which made it a really great show to watch. Definitely worth the price!

Furthermore, the MHS Drama Club had been working on the play for many months prior to their performance. It was a phenomenal show that reflected the hard work put in by the cast members and directors. Mamma Mia was probably one of the best plays preformed at Manville High School!
