When Fortnite drops a new big update, there are always many unfair or broken things that come with it. Additionally, there are also bugs and glitches that were introduced after Fortnite’s big update moving on to Chapter 5, Season 2. As always, we must wait a while for Fortnite to patch or fix these things in the game. For now, there are a ton of bugs and many things to complain about.
One of the numerous bugs is in one of Fortnite’s new game modes, Fortnite Festival. In this gamemode, there are many quests to do to unlock rewards. In the quests tab, there are usually quests called milestones, which take a while to complete. However, they are gone from the quests tab for some reason. Surprisingly, you can still complete the milestone quests, you just can’t see them.
With the new season, one of the unfair things added is called the “Wings of Icarus.” The reason for this new item being absolutely broken is because of two reasons. One of the reasons is because you can literally fly with them and take no fall damage while having them equipped. Although you can still easily hit people while they are flying, it becomes near impossible to hit them for another reason. This reason is because while you are flying, you can barrel-roll to the left and right. For some reason, you can do this very fast, making it insanely hard to hit the enemy player.
As annoying as the last one was, there is an even more broken item this season. This item is called the “Thunderbolt of Zeus.” When you use it, you throw two thunderbolts and then throw a charged one. Along with this doing a lot of damage, it also hits through buildings and breaks them, making it absolutely broken in the end game. This is because in the end game, everyone is building a lot, usually trying to avoid each other so they can do a “heal-off.” But due to this new weapon, you can break all of the builds in the end game, causing people to fall to their death or be forced to fight others. To add on, they would also have to fight people while they are already on low hp from the thunderbolts.
With these bugs and unfair advantages, Fortnite will struggle to stay successful with this season. As always, people will most likely find more glitches on their own. Surprisingly, Fortnite keeps dropping new things rather than fixing their old things first. It is expected that these bugs will be in the game for another week at minimum. Like other bugs or unfair things in their game, they seem to take a while to actually fix them, and when they do, there is usually another bug that comes with it. But as always, we just have to be patient.
