What’s a famous game without news about upcoming updates? On March 8th, 2024, the new season of Fortnite will begin. There are already tons of leaks for what will be happening during the season. From a new event all the way to a new and improved battle pass, this next season will have a lot to show. There are also theories that Fortnite will be bringing back something from Chapter 2.
The Fortnite leaks show that Season 2 will be themed after Greek Mythology. Due to this, there are many leaks of skins that will be in the next battle pass, including Luffy from One Piece. They will be adding tons of Greek Mythology characters, including Ares, Hades, Hermes, and many more. Due to there being so many characters, the battle pass will take a lot longer to finish.
Before all of this will happen, there is an event that needs to happen. This event is about Pandora’s box. The event will consist of a hand coming out of cracks on the island. The hand will have Pandora’s box chained to it. In order to free the box, everyone must try to break the chains holding the box. Progress will be saved through games, so everyone must help to break the chains. Once it breaks, the box will fall and open, showing the box shooting a big yellow ray into the sky. If you go near the ray, you can start gliding.
Along with all of these updates, the Fortnite x Disney collaboration is coming up. In this collaboration, there will be a whole new gamemode dedicated to it. Apparently, people will be able to create their own stories in this gamemode with famous Disney characters. You will also be able to buy stuff in this gamemode and watch content. Not much else is known about this collaboration, but we do know is that it is going to be a big update.
With all of these upcoming updates, Fortnite will be gaining a lot of popularity. Many people are interested in Greek Mythology, as shown with God of War, so Fortnite adding this will have lots of fans happy. Along with this, they may actually bring back Kratos, due to the theme of this new season. Like Kratos, Midas has also been in Fortnite, so they might make him a new skin for the battle pass. The new Greek Mythology update will add a lot to Fortnite.
