Did Messi pull another robbery of the century?

A couple months back, Messi stole the Ballon D’or from Haaland. Everyone knew that the award should’ve gone to Haaland, yet Fifa decided to give it to Messi because he won the World Cup even though Haaland won the treble, which, in my opinion, is more competitive. Also, for one team to win three trophies in months is just amazing; this was all done thanks to Haaland.

This time it was the award for The Best Player in Fifa. This time it had to go to Haaland because he not only had the trophies; he had the stats. He was definitely the top player in 2023, yet Fifa did not think this; yet again they gave this award to Messi, a player who only did well in the World Cup, yet didn’t score as many goals, even if he did lead his team to greatness.

Messi has robbed two awards from Haaland- very important awards that could define Haaland’s future; but maybe it’s just not the time for him: who knows?
