Carly Galvin is honored to be chosen as the December Student of the Month. To Carly, this shows that her hard work is being recognized, and it brings her much joy.
Carly has been very involved in the community, especially this year, being a part of the cross country and track teams, the environmental club, National Honor Society, and even speech and debate. When she gets a break from the school year, you can find Carly reading books or working at Carvel over the summer.
Some of Carly’s favorite memories include playing volleyball during physical education, playing cards with her friends in study hall throughout junior year, and classes such as AP Language and AP Research, where she learned so much, while simultaneously bonding and having fun with my classmates.
Carly’s favorite subject is science, as she finds it fascinating to learn about the world and how it functions. She also enjoys classes that are hands-on with labs that allow for you to learn firsthand. With these aspirations and curiosity, Carly plans on attending a four-year university and majoring in environmental science or sustainability.
Congratulations to Carly Galvin for winning Student of the Month!
