The beloved playground of many memories is being officially reconstructed! On
Wednesday, January 24th, Bridgewater Township’s government officially announced it, stating,
“Many of you may remember that last year we initiated the process to improve KidStreet and
give it a facelift.” This playground is not only beloved by Bridgewater but the neighboring towns,
as well!

The township council awarded the contract to TC Landscape Construction Group,
Incorporated, in July of 2023. The playground will still be open to the public. but they state for
visitors to “respect any areas that have been cordoned off for your safety. These restricted
areas will move around the park as work is completed.” Bridgewater Open Space Fund provides
$166,000 for park restoration and repairs.
This project is expected to finish in about two months. They will be reroofing, putting new
fences, pressure washing, staining, and more. This park is going to be completely and utterly
revamped. And with the new assets, it will also be safer for children. Stay posted to see how
