La Liga has been one of the best leagues to watch for many years. They are, and
will always be, the prize of European Football. For many years, two teams have
been at the top of La Liga; those clubs are Real Madrid and Barcelona. These two
teams have been rivals since 1902. Since then, the rivalry has never stopped. Just
because these are the top two teams in La Liga it does not mean that there aren’t good
teams in the league. The only reason these are the top two clubs in La Liga is
because of the energy and passion they bring that have had many comebacks
throughout the years, and they just don’t like to lose, and when they do they come
back stronger.

This year is a bit different, though, because the underdogs are picking their fights
and winning them; of course, Real Madrid and Barcelona are up there, but these
underdogs are finally starting to improve not only on the pitch but as a team
because it doesn’t matter how good you are on the pitch if you don’t have a good
relationship outside of it with your teammates.

This year standing are Girona in first place, Real Madrid in second, third
Barcelona, fourth Atletico Madrid, and fifth Athletic Club. We can tell that this
year all eyes are on La Liga. So many teams aren’t willing to lose this year and
will do anything to get up there on the board. Nobody likes losing, yet this year
teams are taking it in and making sure that the next game they don’t lose from
there on.

Real Madrid and Barcelona may be the best in La Liga, but everybody loves an
underdog story, mostly when it is in a top league.
