Manville High School has earned a high ranking in a list of 2023-2024 Best High Schools released by the U.S News! Manville was awarded a national ranking in the top 40% and was ranked 160th in New Jersey high schools. The 2023-2024 edition of Best High Schools includes a numerical ranking of nearly all public high schools nationwide. The schools are ranked based on their performance on state tests, graduation and how well they prepare students for college. “Hundreds of award winning schools have displayed these badges to enhance school spirit and to maintain attendance levels that are often crucial to obtaining adequate state funding,” states U.S News. This is not the first time Manville was given this outstanding award!
Students at Manville have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement (AP) classes. The AP participation rate at Manville High School is 45%. Manville High School offering AP classes benefits the students by being able to boost their GPA and to help with college level work. Additionally, if students pass their AP exam they are able to earn college credits, which will benefit them tremendously. On the Manville School District website it states that the award reflects upon the work ethic and dedication of the faculty and staff who have worked tirelessly to provide a quality education during challenging times. The accomplishment also results from the collective focus on academic achievement from the students.
