the corn maze on their website, “Each and every year we dedicate our corn maze to either events
that happen on our farm or a great local cause. So while you are here you can be challenged to
find your way through our 5 acres of farm fun!” Their pumpkin patch grows over 60 different
varieties of pumpkins, winter squash, and gourds, which makes it easy to pick the perfect
pumpkin for you. Norz Hill Scare Farm has 3 haunted attractions, which are the Creepy Hollow &
Paranoia, which are both of the walking trails, and The Slay Ride, which is the hayride. The scare
farm will be open throughout the month of October, so be sure to check it out! Norz Hill farm
market has lots of fall essentials, whether that be Halloween and Fall crafts, Indian Corn, straw
bales, corn stalks, and more. You also can’t forget about their desserts, like their pies, jams,
breads, apple cider donuts, and more.
Norz Hill Farm is rated a 4.5/5 stars, which means a lot of people love to visit and would
recommend others to stop by! A review written by Mya states,
“What an amazing time. If you love animals this is the place to visit. There must have
been hundreds of people but the staff is very organized, we didn’t have to wait more than
3 minutes for a hayride. First they take you to the farm with all the animals and then they
take you to the pumpkin patch. You can spend as much time as you like at both places.
Highly recommended!”
Another written by Sarah P says, “First time here. Very friendly staff, nice set-up, reasonably
priced. We enjoyed the hayride, seeing the different animals, and picking our own pumpkins.
The farm stand/market was well organized, neat and had a great selection of items.” Norz Hill
Farm is clearly loved by many people due to their great staff, activities, food, and more.
Although the majority of the reviews are very positive, a few people do not like the
pricing. Eunjoo Song wrote, “It was okay farm for me. I was there for fall activities for my kids.
Pumpkin patch was okay, but then it was too expensive for me. It was 65 cents per pound. My
kids picked three small pumpkins and they charged 1 dollar per each. I had to pay over 12 dollars
for one regular pumpkin and three small pumpkins. If they put every pumpkins on the scale at
the same time, I would feel good. But they charged 1 dollar per each. And the line was very long
for food and the service was very slow.” Another review Mike Eye wrote says, “We planned this
visit and were so excited to go. Beautiful roadways and farmlands. When we arrived and entered
the fruit and vegetable tent we were shocked to see the very bare tables. Each table had a fraction
of products. The meat freezer was stocked but, frozen product beyond to my liking. Meat is sold
frozen.” The owner of the farm replied back saying, “Michael, we are sorry you were
disappointed with your visit. We always try our very best with our products, however with
working outdoors and not in an indoor temperature controlled space, on hot or slower days we
try to not keep each fruit or vegetable fully displayed, but chose to keep in our refrigerated box
and put out as needed so our fruits and vegetables are as fresh as possible…”
Norz Hill Farm is a great place to go during this fall season, so make sure to check it out
while you can. It is the perfect place for fun, and would be great to visit during the fall time with
your friends. From the scare farm, to corn maze, to hayrides, and more there will be something
that you can enjoy!
