As the first semester and second marking period are coming to an end many of the Manville students will be having their schedules altered. Why do you ask? Well, if you haven’t known, the second semester for Manville high school students will be getting new electives. What exactly are electives in high school though? Electives are officially a type of academic coursework. They enrich your teen’s high school experience and strengthen their education throughout the course of the year. But, because these courses fall outside a high school program’s required subject areas, your student gets to select them instead of being required to take them. In the Manville school district on Friday, January 28, 2022 students will be getting their next two electives for the finishing of the year. If you go to Genesis you will see your classes and where your next class will be and in what room, if you are unsure where they are located.
