After a long county wrestling tournament on Saturday, January 11th, the Mustangs took on the Ewing Blue Devils. The dual started at 106 pounds where the Mustangs received a forfeit; as well as 2 more forfeits for the next two bouts; the Mustangs start off with a 18-0 lead. 

At 126 pounds, junior Chris Moore, early in the 2nd period to extend the Mustangs lead 24-0. At 132, Brandon Flores would earn a gritty 2-1 decision followed by another forfeit at 138 from Nick Colombaroni. The next two bouts, the Mustangs would earn 2 more decisions making the score 36-0

In the next 4 bouts, Manville got 3 pins and a win by injury default. At 220, Manville took its only loss by major decision. Making the score 63-4. Senior Joey Wildgoose, shows heart in the last match of the night winning in ultimate tie breaker 4-3.

The Mustangs take on Boonton at home January 17th at 7:00, followed by a tri-meet with Montgomery and Highland park on Saturday the 18th.
